Sensius, a hyperthermia system in 3D
An interactive 3D studio to explain ERIQA, Sensius's hyperthermia system.
An interactive 3D studio to explain ERIQA, Sensius's hyperthermia system.
A complex medical system is hard to explain with photos and spec sheets. Sensius needed to show ERIQA, its hyperthermia system, to people who don't have it in front of them.
Sensius Studio puts it in the browser in 3D. You can rotate it, zoom in, switch between the studio view, both sides and the top view, measure it in centimetres, look inside and save an image of what you are seeing.
And you can watch it work: a timeline plays the robotic arm's motion during treatment, from the upper scan to the lower scan and back, at different speeds.
Who it's for
For Sensius's sales and clinical team, who need to explain the system at a meeting or a trade fair without bringing it along. And for hospitals and professionals who want to understand how it works before seeing it in person.
What's behind it
Real-time WebGL 3D viewer, a model of the system with materials and reflections, arm animation synced to a timeline, preset views and measurements, image capture, English and Dutch, and adjustable graphics quality.
From drawing to motion
Seeing a system in motion changes the conversation. Instead of describing how the arm works or what is inside the housing, you can show it and let each person explore it at their own pace. The studio brings together on one screen what used to take a video, several drawings and a visit: the views, the measurements, the interior and the full treatment cycle. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install, in English or Dutch.
